Christmas Leftovers

Christmas is gone but the loot is ever present and still being enjoyed. Harker and Hyrum got a TV and enjoy being able to play the Wii in their own room (this was a present to me too!). Nathan received a brand new car from Santa and when he is not screaming for his sister to get out of it he is happy behind the wheel. Natalie was sleeping at picture time so Nathan happily volunteered to model with the kitchen Santa brought Natalie. They both love to cook for me but wish that I would "really" eat the food. Harker was busy doing his homework. He is just getting started on division and is excited to start learning about "angles and stuff" soon. He had to get his homework done early today because he has cubscouts and his Grandpa Mangum's birthday party to attend this evening! Happy Birthday Bart!!!!

New Pics for a New Year! 2010!

Natalie is my little painter. She loves it and will ask almost everyday to create her watercolor art. When she asks she always follows her plea with the promise, "I won't paint on the table!!"

The boys are back in school so Natalie, Nathan and I are back on our own again. Actually, it just means that I am back to being the main source of entertainment and amusement. This morning we went to Walmart, cleaned out closets at the church, and then we decorated a birthday present. Eric's (a cousin) 5th birthday is today and Natalie has been so excited to go to his party and give him his present. I wrapped it up and Natalie and I hot glued some toys on it. She thought it was the coolest thing and insisted I take a picture.

Over the Christmas break I did everything but Christmas stuff. I don't think I even took one picture. Shame on me I know! I didn't do much baking, didn't write a Christmas letter and I haven't even written thank you notes yet. I did do a ton of Primary stuff. I made really cool binders for all of my teachers and support "staff". I have 18 people working in the Primary with me so it was a big task. I also finally printed off my entire blog (two years worth) and I am so excited to have a paper copy of my blog journal. Brad is even putting it on a cd-rom for me to keep with it. I have been cleaning out closets, making room for the new Christmas toys in the kids room (making trips to Goodwill) and we even moved Nathan into Natalie's room and rearranged the boys' room.

We had a great Christmas. We were spoiled. I will post more on the kids' favorites later but I just had to include this picture of Brad on the sewing machine. Brad's present was his new Droid and he just had to have a case for it. After looking all over and not liking anything available, he decided to make his own. He actually did a great job!
