More Havasu Pictures

Lake Havasu- Pool Time!

We went to Lake Havasu a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting around to blogging about it. We went with my mother and father and had a great time. It was really hot but we spent so much time by the pool that we didn't mind. It is nice to go swimming at 8am and be perfectly comfortable! I love this first picture. Brad had fun showing the boys how to do flips into the pool. He was really good at it but the boys never caught on. His form was not very good in this picture but it looks really cool!

This is the infamous slide. It is 94 feet and man, you fly out of that thing! Everyone in the family had a blast on the slide many times except for Natalie. She wanted nothing to do with it.

We stayed at the London Bridge Resort and they had all kinds of fun things to do, many of them were poolside. They had two movies by the pools the week we were there.
This picture makes me laugh every time I see it! The resort had these fire dancers come every weekend night and perform by the pool. Brad had a front row seat this night. I love the goggles!

The resort has three pools. One is only for 21 and up. It is the party pool. It was great because we were kept separated from the animals. It was very family friendly.

In the mornings, before the slide opened, you could swim under the slide and by the waterfall. You could also make your son sit in the slide for a picture!

Harker and Hyrum took a snorkeling class.

Nathan is 5!

Nathan turned 5 on the 17th. He is growing up so fast and he is now old enough for kindergarten. All of my children will be in school! Crazy!! It was fitting then that the day after his birthday I had interviews at two elementary schools. I was offered positions at both and I accepted a job teaching 5th grade at Turpen Elementary, the same school I worked at for three years over thirteen years ago. One of my good friends still works there and the principal there is even a member of the church in my stake! Hyrum is excited at the prospect of being in my class. I told Brad he will have to come to parent- teacher conferences!

Father's Day With My Father!

It doesn't happen very often any more but today I have my father on his special day!

Harker is a Deacon!

Man, my little boy is not so little any more!  Harker is an Arronic Priesthood holder as of today. I am so happy for him and all those he will be able to serve and bless.

Happy 12th Birthday Harker!

Harker is twelve today.  I am so proud of him and super excited for him to hold the Priesthood. He will be confirmed and ordained tomorrow. He wanted money for his birthday as he is saving up for his very own computer. He is well on his way.

Harker requested cheese soup for his birthday dinner. Grandma Westhoff happily granted his wish.
