Easter 2011

Ready for church. We left for church at 8:45 a.m. and by then they had already had their Easter Baskets, Easter Egg Hunt, and were plum full of sugar. Judging by the way Primary went, so had all the other kids. Remind me, if I am still Primary President next year to plan a trip Easter Weekend!

After Easter dinner and a Primary recovering rest, we decorated Easter cupcakes.

We also decorated eggs. Brad is not a big fan of the egg coloring thing but he was a good sport and the kids of course loved it. Natalie and Nathan got the dye all over their clothes but alas, it all came out.

As I type Natalie is eating an egg for breakfast, Nathan was mad at me for messing it up and giving it to Natalie to devour. He thinks they should stay, "pretty".

New Driveway..Almost...

While I was in Denver Brad decided to keep himself busy. He tore up the old driveway, dug out a new one, hauled off the old concrete and had a bunch of filler dumped in front of our house. It was all a big mud puddle when I got home and the kids can not seem to ever make it to the car without climbing on the rock pile. The puddle finally dried up and Brad spent this morning filling it in. We are well on our way now.

Denver Trip

Daniel and Megan went to Hawaii for their 10th wedding anniversary coming up. Dad and Aunt Audrey flew in and Natalie, Nathan and I met mom in Albuquerque and drove up to good old Denver. We had a good time and took turns watching the kids and going out. One of the big days was the one that we took the kiddos to the zoo. They loved it, Nathan still tells me everyday all the animals he saw. I made this video to share the trip and allow Natalie and Nathan to relive the week over and over. By the way, I just had to allow Mr. Denver himself to accompany the movie, the song was stuck in my head most of the week.
