Natalie lost her first tooth yesterday and is so proud of herself. It has been loose for quite a while now and her daddy finally got to it yesterday. She loves to stick her tongue in the new space and will show anyone who'll look as many times as she can get them to. She was ecstatic about the tooth fairy coming last night and over the moon with the anticipation of being added to the chart of people who have lost teeth at school today. Nathan is grossed out by it and is not the least bit envious. He has declared to us many times that he is
NOT going to
EVER lose any of his.
Since I am on the subject of Miss Natalie I will have to share a recent experience that I had with this daughter of mine. The boys had a Scout field trip at the local law enforcement building. I decided to stay and wait in the car with the little kids instead of leaving and having to come back. One of the leaders has a little girl that is Natalie's age and I offered to watch her too. They were all playing and having a good time while I read the newspaper. All of a sudden Natalie passes some gas and it was quite loud. Without missing a beat she says, "That was
NOT me, that was my
MOM!, Mom, could you
please not do that with my friend here!"
